We started our journey to Spa this morning around 9:30 where we first caught a train and then finished our journey on a bus, as pictured above! Today we were in Spa to visit the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps which is home to over 100 years of motor racing including events like the Belgium Grand Prix and many endurance races. Once arriving at the track we met up with our amazing tour guide and got to see the amazing Eau Rouge which translates to red water. Eau Rouge is a famous turn on the track which has a 17% hill.

After seeing Eau Rouge we took a walk to the grandstands (in the picture above) and got to see a closer look at the steep hill. After this we took a walk over to what would be the pit-lane during an F1 race and got to see lots of the Porsches that were running on the track later in the day! We got to see the start and finish line, the podium (pictured below), and even things like the media/interview rooms. After this we said goodbye to our lovely tour guide and sat at a rooftop restaurant and watched the Porsches race around the track before it was time to head back to the bus stop.

After a bumpy bus ride we caught the train once again to head back to Leuven. Once arriving back in

Leuven we had a short break before having a group dinner at an Italian restaurant called Pepe Nero. The rigatoni was amazing as well as the conversation! We ended the night by getting a bite of gelato (the raspberry was to die for). All in all a very successful day with cool views, awesome food, and a great group of people!
