Sunday, June 1- Final Day in Paris

ree

Today was our last full day in Paris. It was a free day, so some chose to go to Disneyland, while others explored the Lourve, Notre Dame, Monmartre, cruise the River Seine, take in the parade for the Paris Saint-Germain Champions League victory and others chose to catch up on rest after celebrating Addie’s birthday the night before. I started my day with a trek to Monmartre to see the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and Moulin Rouge.

Next, I enjoyed French toast at a streetside cafe.

While I was making my way to the victory parade, Emma, Sydney, and Rose ventured to Disneyland Paris and added it to their list of Disney experiences.

Kate and Olivia witnessed the Mona Lisa and beautiful couture dresses.

After a 3 mile trek to Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées, Matt, Enzo, Luke, David and I had the exciting opportunity to experience the parade celebrating the Paris Saint-Germain victory for the Champions League Cup.

It was amazing to see over 110,000 Parisiens celebrate their team!

We ended our day with a group dinner at a French restaurant, Les Parigots Bistro. I enjoyed a delicious chicken dish while Alec and others enjoyed steak, burgers, and beef tartare.

Dr. Kropp and I also shared pork croquettes and stuffed peppers as an appetizer.

After dinner, Emilia, Julia, Nora and Katie took one more opportunity to see the Eiffel Tower at night.
