We started our day with a heavy breakfast before we headed to the train station around 9:20ish. We took a train to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where the Velodrome and aquatic center are located. From there, we met our tour guide for the Olympic facilities that we are going to go and see.
These facilities were used during the 2012 Olympic Games. Queen Elizabeth Park is part of the East End of London. While we were on our way to the aquatic center, we had a little walk by the London stadium as we were on our way to the entrance to the aquatic center. The London Stadium is where West Ham United play their soccer games. As we entered the aquatics center, we got a tour of the 25m pool and the main competition pool. They had a 25m pool, aka the training pools. As well as the dive pool with the main assortment of diving boards and high dives. Next, we trekked on to walk by the London stadium again. Our tour guide told us a little bit about it in relation to West Ham and the Olympics.

As we were walking, it poured on us, and we were all soaked as we came to the entrance of the Velodrome, where the Olympic track cycling and BMX were held.

We learned a lot about how the facility was used and how it is run. Our tour guide let us all wander around to take a look at all the things the Velodrome had and at all the other sides of it. We all then congregated and got some last-minute questions from our tour guide about the Velodrome. We ended our tour back where we started the tour at Westfield Mall.

We took a train to get to Camden Market, where we were all able to shop and eat lots of good food that the market had to offer. After around 3 hours, we all met up after eating and shopping, and all headed back to the train station to head to the cricket game at The Lord's Cricket Grounds. The cricket game that we saw was Middlesex Vs Kent Spitfires. Middlesex was the home team, and Kent Spitfires were the away team. We all got to experience the full English weather today. All throughout the day, we had on-and-off rain ranging from a slight drizzle to even a full downpour.
