Our Friday in Paris was spent at Roland Garros watching the 2025 French Open. We all arrived at the stadium between 11:00 and 12:00 after taking a 45-minute ride on the Paris metro system, as well as a 15-minute walk from the station to Roland Garros. From there, we spent the day at the complex. Our tickets gave us access to most of the courts, which included men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles matches.

The more popular matches that many of us attended were the ones featuring two Americans, as we watched Tommy Paul and Ben Shelton both win their respective matches. Paul won his match in a five-set thriller that lasted over four hours, while Shelton won his match in straight sets.

The day was not just filled with tennis; there were other activities available throughout the Roland Garros complex. There was a large food court offering a variety of food options, multiple shopping centers, and even lawn chairs for relaxation outside the stadium courts.

While the sun was shining the entire day, its presence, as well as the temperature and the UV index, made today a bit of a challenge as almost all of us were left sunburnt to some degree. Despite that, we were still able to have a fun day watching the best tennis players in the world at one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. Different groups of people left Roland Garros at various times and did different things following their return to the hotel. Some people used this time to catch up on laundry, and others ate dinner in the area near the hotel. In conclusion, Friday, May 30, was another day well spent for us in Paris.
